my new book release
From Prisoner to Professor: How the Angola
Prison Revival Launched an International
Ministry" by Dr. Alex Hennis is a powerful
account of one man's extraordinary journey
from a life of crime to becoming a beacon of
hope and transformation. It chronicles his
profound spiritual awakening and unwavering
commitment to faith and education as the
Spirit of God transformed the bloodies 18,000
acres of American real-estate into a place of
peace and stability. Despite the challenging
circumstances, Hennis planted churches, led
Bible studies, taught spiritual and academic
classes, and earned seven college degrees
while incarcerated, showcasing his resilience
and dedication to self-improvement and
spiritual growth.
The narrative then shifts to Hennis's post-
incarceration life, where he continues to inspire
and educate as an evangelist and faculty
member at Global University. Additionally,
Hennis travels to churches and conferences
around the world, sharing his testimony and
fostering spiritual revivalism. His story of
redemption, faith, and perseverance serves as
a testament to the transformative power of
faith and education, encouraging others to
embrace hope and redemption that is found in
a relationship with Jesus Christ.
international teaching
